AFS – Student Exchange and GAP Year opportunities

Well we’re nearly in March, so the year is moving on. We’d like to share some of the things AFS has to offer this year, and as always, if you have students interested in travel, we have experiences ranging from two week upwards. Below are some of the great programmes we offer.

AFS Global Prep programmes offer short-term, theme-based, group experiences that address issues of importance to young people while facilitating their growth as global citizens. They will thrive in an incredible new place, unlike anything they’ve experienced so far, and create authentic connections that will last a lifetime! It’ gives students the opportunity to pursue your interests, while becoming a real global citizen through an AFS structured intercultural learning programme. You will leave your mark on the communities you visit and work to create a positive impact for yourself, your local community and the world.

Students looking to have a gap year, can check out all of the programmes we run with our Go Kiwi Go programmes. Anywhere from two weeks to six months or extending to a year. Programmes run across internships, working with people, animals and conservation.

We can transform your life with new countries, new cultures, a new family and new friends! These aren’t tourist trips, you’ll live like a local and get a genuine taste for life in another culture. You’ll be treated as one of the family and get great support from AFS. AFS provides two month, five month and ten month long school programmes.
