The Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand is offering scholarships for Year 11, 12, and 13 students with a passion for astronomy to attend their annual conference! The conference will be held here in Wellington, over the weekend of Friday 8th – Sunday 10th May. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of astronomy and learn more about current hot topics in the astronomy world!
The scholarship will cover the cost of registration for the conference, and a ticket to the Banquet dinner.
To apply, all you need to do is write a short statement of no more than 300 words on why you are interested in Astronomy, and why you would like to attend the conference. This needs to be emailed to the RASNZ by 5pm on Fri 27th March for consideration.
