Debating teams for 2019 are now being put together. We are looking for students of all levels and debating experience. Debating is a fun way to develop your speaking and thinking skills. You can get to know new people and make connections with other schools. Spread the word to your friends who may be interested.
We are also looking for volunteers to coach and adjudicate.
There will be a meeting on Monday the 11th of February in B17. This will be a chance to ask questions and get more information about debating.

Please ensure that you have the time to commit to this if you are going to sign up as we have limited positions. Those after a position on our senior prem teams will need to trial.
Actual debates will be held on:
Wednesdays for juniors
Thursdays for seniors
Tuesdays for senior prem
Debates will start at the end of February. They run about every 2-3 weeks. There will be 5 in total across the year, with more if the team makes it through to final rounds. There will be a small fee (between $5 and $20 depending on team) associated with debating this year.
