Last week our Dragonboating team had three days paddling on Lake Hood, Ashburton, at the Dragonboating Nationals. They had some heats where WGC beat teams that had never been beaten before such as Epsom Girls who hadn’t been beaten in a heat or final for over 18 years! The spectators and commentators were excited about the team’s racing, and their super race starts. The team ended up with three bronze and two silvers, and the finals were all very very close.
