EducationUSA New Zealand teamed up with Australia to launch a joint YouTube channel as a depository of information for students interested in studying in the United States. The channel includes 16 videos and more than eight hours of content for students, parents, and educators to watch at their leisure. The NCAA Eligibility Center updated academic requirements for future student-athletes in January 2021. The updated New Zealand Academic Guidelines are available here: https://www.ncaa.org/student-athletes/future/new-zealand

The College Board announced they will discontinue the SAT optional essay and subject tests. The subject tests will no longer be offered effective immediately for U.S. students and will be phased out after June 2021 for international students. The College Board will also revise the main SAT test to make it more flexible and able to be delivered digitally.
