Two combined WGC / WC teams took part in the Junior Regional Get2Go event on 18 August with one team comprising Rachel Baker, Amy McHardy, Kate McHardy and Poppy Healy winning the event. They now have the opportunity to take part in the final at Great Barrier Island this summer. The second team placed a very credible 7th out of 15 entries.
The girls trained really hard for the event and all worked very well on the day – they were kind and thoughtful towards other team members and always supportive with good ideas for strategies. Organiser Beverley Holder commented “I am really proud of our young people who performed so well yesterday and did it with such excellent teamwork.”

Year 9: Bella Manning, Poppy Healy (plus Emily Mora who would have been there had she not been in a moon boot!)
