First of all, applications are open for GirlBoss Edge: Primary Industries, our 10-day online career accelerator. This is an amazing fully-funded opportunity, so make sure you learn more and apply below. We have 250 funded places and they are filling up fast, so make sure you apply today.
On the GirlBoss Edge programme, you will get 1:1 Mentoring, CV worthy experience, and (what I love most) a community of new friends from every part of Aoteoroa. You will take part in Facebook Lives and Netflix Parties and connect with other young women who share your passion for STEM, the Primary Sector or Sustainability. Just the other day, I talked to a GirlBoss Edge Alumni who decided to enrol in a completely different University, so she could be with the new friend group she had met on the programme! In 2020, 98% of participants, made new friends!
Second, applications are currently open for the Ngā Karahipi Uru Rākau Forestry Scholarship for young women interested in pursuing a career in Forestry. Last year, two wonderful GirlBoss members were successful in winning this generous Scholarship. We are so proud of our GirlBoss members who continue to outperform and collectively receive millions in University Scholarships each year. We highlight and celebrate one of these young women, Maude Rogers, below.
