Congratulations to the WGC Junior 1 badminton team who won the Wellington Division 1 competition and made it through to the Regional Badminton Finals held at Naenae Hall on Thursday 29 July. They played very well against Onslow Junior 1 but unfortunately lost 2-4 so came a very credible third. WGC Junior 5 badminton team with players Basia Betkier, Sahana Brown (captain), Mandy Mei and Cristal Sharma also had a great season, winning the Wellington Division 3 competition – well done!
