The WGC rowing crews finished their shortened season recently with a great regatta at the NZ North Island Secondary Schools Champs at Lake Karapiro. Our squads managed an amazing 13 x A Finals, and 3 x B Finals.
Medalists included a Silver for the U15 Coxed Octopule Sculls. Those in this crew were from the left; Betty Custodio (cox), Natascha Casey, Bella Revell, Nico Daly, Zola Kemp, Liv Mazey, McKenzie Kemp, Jess Sutherland and Jess Barker. Rowing Captain Alice Fahey managed a bronze in the U18 Single Sculls and the U15 Coxed Quad Sculls got a bronze also. The crew was Stella Sherbone, Ellie Morrison, Nico Daly, Bella Revell and McKenzie Kemp.
