Hawkins:
- Atrium – The boom crane is on site for a few more weeks. The work on installing large pieces of steel continues. The contractors will endeavour to make use of the before and after school times but may have to operate sometimes during the school day. Because of health and safety considerations they will not be able to stop at short notice. Please make use of the Pipitea back up rooms if you have an activity that requires guaranteed quiet.
- P1A/B – At infrequent times, while the crane is in operation, the walkway from P1A/B to Tower will be unavailable for 5 minutes or so. The contactors will put a cone inside the classroom doorway to signal the exit is not available. The contractors will also monitor the entrance from Tower.
- P1 and P2 A – Steel work to be put into the ceiling space of the small break out rooms by the Atrium – the actual dates and times of this work to be confirmed.
- Brook Lift Driveway – This remains a materials delivery zone Big deliveries next week include CLT and Kingspan for the Atrium.
- Pipitea Stairs –
- The front entrance, and meeting room is being worked on. The entrance way aluminium wall has been installed and you can see the front entrance now from the DP portacom ramp
- Next week the big window walls at the front of the stairs area will start to be installed..
- Hawkins will work around the agreed noisy times in the stairs area . These are 6.30am to 8.45pm Mon,Tues, Thurs, and Friday (6.30am to 9.30pm Wed) and after school every day. Please advise DL Health and Safety for any noise concerns in this area.
Ceres:
- The team from Ceres will be back in school from 4 July. Their offices will be located in the old Careers rooms off the foyer.
