It was another amazing contest between the best sprinters from WGC and Wellington East in our annual 4 x 100m relay. The winners from the previous year host the event, which was rather daunting for the East team performing in front of a 1400 strong WGC team!!
WGC was lagging a bit behind at the last change but Bebe Newman put her head down and took off after the East runner. With 5 metres to go to the finish line Bebe screamed past to take out the relay for another year. A massive congratulations to the team pictured left to right; Hannah Evett, Lola Fowler, Sam Whyte and Bebe Newman.
