India Shackel & Kate Bradley have successfully auditioned and been accepted into the Royal New Zealand Ballet Mentor programmed for 2019 of which there are only 12 students selected nation wide.
The RNZB National Mentor Programme is an exciting opportunity for dedicated young dance students to tap into the professional experience of the Company. Selected students will receive guidance and professional advice from their mentor and free access to classes and performances throughout the year.
Selected mentored students:
- have quality time with their mentor through the year
- keep in contact with their mentor via Movitae* with options for easy video communication and feedback
- watch company class and rehearsal while the dancers are on tour
- spend time backstage with the company
- receive two complimentary tickets to selected performances
- participate in exclusive master classes
- spend a day in Wellington at the RNZB’s home. Students will observe class and rehearsals, take part in a class and visit backstage workrooms, including costume.
