My name is Jaskiran Kaur Rahi, I am a year 8 student at Queen Margaret College and I have set up a social enterprise called Spirit & Soul. Our Mission Statement is:
‘Spirit & Soul aims to empower young women to do anything and be the best that they can be so that they can place their mark in society’
We are hosting our third event on the 14th of September from 10am to 2pm and it will be centred around teaching young women life skills that they are not usually taught, such as how to change a tyre, simple self-defence, how to use hand and power tools, financial literacy and more! This event is being supported by some fantastic organisations including: Banqer, BCITO, Wellington Free Ambulance, the AA, Xero, Bunnings and many more!
