Tutorials are back for Terms 3 and 4, in a revised form

For every subject, your teacher designates one period of the week as a tutorial period. This period may be the same one each week, or it may vary depending on circumstances.

You teacher sets the parameters of the tutorial period:

  • You may be required to do specific work for that subject
  • You may be free to revise or catch up work for that subject
  • You may be free to revise or catch up work for that subject
  • You may be given free rein to work on any subject you like
  • The teacher may need to work with a small group of students
  • The teacher may run a formal tutorial that you can opt into

You won’t necessarily have a tutorial period every single week. Your teacher will tell you if and when you have one.

You must go to class every period. You can ask for permission to work elsewhere, and this may be granted, but in general you need to remain in class. Your teacher has the final say on this.
