Round 1 of The University of Otago Junior Mathematics Competition takes place in Week 9. The competition takes place online, so you need to bring your laptop.
Entrants can choose to sit it at 3:30pm on Wednesday 29 March or 7:30am on Thursday 30 March, in B12. The format is a mixture of multiple-choice and short answer questions, and takes 50 minutes. Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 are welcome to enter here. The entry fee is $5.
Students who do well will be invited to sit Round 2 later in the year. This will be a written test.
