Jumpstart Programme
The University of Waikato are offering six 100-level (15 point) papers as part of our Jumpstart programme in January and February 2020. Students can choose from the five papers running at the Hamilton Campus and one paper running at the Tauranga Campus. These papers will suit any new undergraduate student.
Jump Start is particularly good for students who have lower NCEA credits (or equivalent) in core areas such as Literacy, Maths, and Science, those who have been out of study for a while, and for those who come from smaller towns.
This programme is also great for those who would like to make friends and ease into understanding the Uni environment and learn core Uni study skills.
Alongside the paper you choose, you will attend sessions teaching you important tertiary study skills, how to use the Uni technology and so much more – all aimed at helping you be successful at University.
Programme dates are Tuesday 28 January – Friday 21 February 2020.
