The U18 Capital Hockey women’s team finished 4th out of 8 at the end of the national tournament. An achievement apparently – ‘the best result in a while.’ Taking part were five WGC girls (Kat Winter (12), Jade Jones (13), Ruby Baker (11), Sorita Pho (12), Lucy Hibbert (13) Lucy, Kat and Ruby) and their amazingly dedicated and supportive coach Riley as part of the coaching team. Three of the five WGC girls are only 16 years old and this being their first year in the team, the future looks bright! We are so proud of the girls!
