Burning Bird by John Donnelly, Performed by Ms Howes’ (HWK) class
Set in London against the backdrop of the 2011 London riots, Burning Bird questions the decisions we make and explores the freedoms we find when authority goes missing. This play is performed in a traditional Epic Theatre style with symbolic props, no backstage, multi roling and direct address. Will or what consequences will face Daisy at the end of the day?

Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay by Dario Fo, Performed by Mrs Holwich’s (HWS) class
Money is tight, and when prices at the local supermarket reach an all time high, Antonia takes matters into her own hands by paying what she considers to be a fair price for your goods. Married to law and order freak Giovanna, Antonia stops at nothing to keep her misdeeds from him and the local authorities. The situation quickly spirals out of control. How far would you go to feed your family and keep your honour intact?
