From the Wellington Girls’ Asian Performance Club (APC), you are warmly invited to attend our Family Night!
Family Night is an event run by the Asian Performance Club to bring WGC whānau together to highlight and celebrate the rich culture of our community, and to showcase our members’ learning.
This year, APC’s Family Night will be on Wednesday, 12th of June in Gym 2. The event will run from around 5:30 onwards.
The WGC APC was formed in 2022 after the school’s first celebration of the Asian Pacific Islander Heritage month in May. We are a performing group, but first and foremost we are a group of friends and a community who aim to celebrate the wide array of Asian cultures at Wellington Girls’. We believe having a space to connect with your own and other cultures is the first step towards cultural unity.
Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy the performances and kai regardless of their cultural or ethnic background!
