The College Sport Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards were held on Sunday 3 November. We had a great night.
We received pennants for Cross Country, Floorball, Hockey & Swimming (we won each of these competitions)
Jo Hiles – Hockey manager for the last 9 years – won a Service to sport award!
We had Individual code award winners for:
Athletics – Naomi Waite;
Cricket – Kate Chandler;
Cross Country – Ava Sutherland;
Floorball – Florence La Masurier;
Rowing – Emma Bagrie;
Swimming – Kate Hurley
Our U18 double Rowing crew won girls’ team of the year and then Emma Bagrie & Kate Chandler were finalists for the big award, but you can’t beat a World champion….
It was a BIG night for WGC – we also had two performers, Greer Castle and Bella Kissock.
