The closing date for 2020 enrolments is 1 November 2019. As we have limited loan-funded places available, enrolled students will then be invited to a Student Selection Day on Saturday 23 November 2019 which consists of an interview with the CEO, Phill Bedford, as well as navigation exercises, a group activity, time in the simulator, classroom test and assessments which include Mathematics.
The Diploma is a two-year, full-time course. There is $70,000 of funding available from Studylink for domestic students ($35,000 per year). Any shortfall needs to be self-funded. The Fees-Free scheme could potentially subsidise their studies with a reduction of $12,000 from the Student Loan, if applicable. The minimum entry criteria for this course is a pass in Level 2 NCEA.
