Badminton season is approaching, so I have some key dates for you all
On Friday MARCH 4th in BG8 Lunchtime there will be an info session for anyone who has not played badminton for WGC and wants to know more about it.
Badminton registration and payment is due on MARCH 11th
Teams:
Whether you are competitive or social, you can make up your own teams of 5-6 players when you register or else you will be placed in a team
Trials for Junior and Senior A teams
Junior Trials – Lunchtime THURSDAY 17th MARCH –GYM
Senior Trials – Lunchtime FRIDAY 18th MARCH –GYM
Trials are for those players who are experienced in badminton. Please be changed with your own racket and sports shoes ready to trial at 1pm on the trial days.
If you miss out on the Junior A or Senior A team, you will be placed in another competitive team
Give-it-a-Go Sessions
If you’re new to badminton and want to learn how to play and score before the season we will be running a training session on FRIDAY 25th MARCH. -GYM
