Defence Careers – Info Evening, Careers Expo & Intakes

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to let you know that Defence Careers will have a stand at the upcoming Wellington Careers Expo next week (25^th & 26^th Sept) at TSB Arena. If you have any students that would like to know more about a career with the NZDF please let them know we will be available for a chat on both Friday and Saturday at the Expo.

We will also be holding an Information Evening this coming Thursday 24^th September at our Defence Careers office in Petone, from 6.00 – 7.00pm. There is no requirement to pre-register for this event, guests are welcome to just turn up on the night.

We are still actively recruiting for Navy and Army intakes for the January – March 2021 intakes. For the Air Force, we are currently only pursuing candidates that are applying for all Officer trades (including Pilot), Electronics Technician (Avionics) and CIS Technician. All other trade applications for the Air Force will be put on hold until January 2021, as we currently have a surplus of applicants for all other Air Force trades. The next intakes for Air Force commence in January (Officer) and May (NCO Trades).
