They did it!!!! The 1st XI Hockey team pulled off a brilliant 5-0 win against St Matthews Collegiate in the final of the Premier 1 league on Friday night. The first of WGC’s goal was scored within 60 seconds and it was 2-0 at half time. The team then went on to dominate the 2nd half with 3 more goals. WGC has not won this premiership for 19 years so a huge congratulations to coaches Riley Jennings and Bjorn Dix and the fabulous team of athletes. Good luck at Fed Cup in Auckland next week.
