Holidays
Kone: On 13 July the lift in Brook will be out of action while the door with the dent in it is replaced.
ENGEO: 11 July contractors will be working in RO1,RO2 and Drama 1 all day.
Contractor Parking by the Music rooms – there will be a lot of contractors on site during the holidays. The contractors will have to use the Music Car park. Mark will also have a skip in the Music Carpark.
Ceres (demolition):
- The team from Ceres will be back in school from 9 July. Their offices will be located in the old Deans rooms off the foyer.
- Levels 3 and Level 2 Tower – hoardings will be going up in the holidays to separate the former classrooms from the corridor. The rooms will be stripped out in preparation to remove the asbestos.
Hawkins will be making the most of the holidays (construction):
Atrium
- The entrances on levels 1-3 from Brook into Pipitea are planned to be formed over the break. This will be noisy and messy.
- Atrium roof – the air conditioning units attached to Tower will be repositioned, the scaffolding platform will be moved, and work on the services access to the plant room will be worked on.
- Work on the ramps and walls continues.
- On Tuesday a big delivery of cladding is being delivered via the Lift driveway
Stairs and main entrance
- The new frontage completed.
