- Mobility access to Brook – The Brook doors opposite BG2 have been reopened. This area is for moving quickly through to gain entry, or to leave Brook. This is a thoroughfare only, no stopping.
Work on Site:
Hawkins
- Lift – work on the interior internal linings is well underway. The access to these areas by the contractors is via the corridor hoardings.
- B37 to the Languages Office – is still out of bounds to all students at all times and only available to Languages staff during set times. These times are on the Fire Doors entrance. A big thank you to the Languages department for making this happen.
- Concrete Pad in the quad – The concrete pour happened today. Thank you all for finding other ways into the buildings.
- Atrium – The Atrium marked out area is out of bounds and is to be treated as part of a construction zone. Currently the Atrium Staff toilet is out of bounds. I will let you know if this changes. Access to the printroom is the external door by Tower.
- Front Entrance – Work will continue in this area.
- Field prefabs – work finishing off the decking, and internal classrooms is continuing. The school hopes to have these handed over next week some time then Mark will need to organised the moving company.
Ceres
- The hoardings facing the quad are nearly completed and then the perimeter hoardings on Pipitea Street will be going up some time.
- Ceres will park all their vehicles in the empty hall space apart from the one by the garage. If you find any Ceres vehicles in other parts of the school let me know and I will have them towed.
- Strip out of Tower continues.
Freear Philip
- The school has put up more signage to indicate to students that the toilets are a no go zone. Overall the basement toilets work is proceeding well. The work zone under the covered walkway is no longer required and has been removed.
