Te Rāngai Pūtaiao | The College of Science is offering a number of opportunities to help school leavers in their decision making, like our Choose Science Careers Evening. We would also like to encourage students to take advantage of campus tours that are being offered through the UC Liaison team.
Looking ahead to 2021, we are excited to announce that the College will offer two new degrees: the Bachelor of Data Science and the Bachelor of Environmental Science with Honours. Explore the full range of our subjects on our YouTube channel.
With science, anything is possible. A science degree can open doors to all sorts of careers, all over the world.
If you are thinking about studying science at university, but not sure where it can lead, UC’s Choose Science careers evening will help you. Hear from inspiring UC Science graduates, meet our current students and find out about career opportunities in science. Registrations are required to attend in person, and the event will also be live streamed on our Facebook.
The UC Liaison team has set up additional Campus Tours on 18 and 19 September to accommodate those who would have travelled to Open Day.
On 21, 22 and 23 September there will be tours running at 4 pm for those primarily from the Christchurch area. There are limited spaces to ensure social distancing, so students are encouraged to register to pre-book a slot.
The College of Science supports the Liaison team with regular campus tours. These tours are an opportunity for potential students and their whānau to check out our facilities and meet us. Tours that include a College visit will take place on the following dates:
