VUW On Campus Law Experience Fri 7 October 9.00 – 1.00

On Friday 7 October, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington will be holding an event for High School students thinking about studying Law. The aim of this event is to invite prospective students into our Pipitea Campus to experience studying Law in our capital city and to experience some of the career opportunities available to them after they complete their degree.

This free event runs from 9am -1pm with optional tours after. It is a great opportunity for senior students (Year 11-13) who are planning on studying Law or are interested in learning where studying Law will take them.

This event will include:

  • Information about the Bachelor of Laws degree and hear from our current Law students
  • Engage with some of our Wellington Law firms
  • Hear about a current Supreme Court case – ‘Make it 16’
  • Lunch with the Law Faculty
  • Optional:
    • Tours of parliament and the Supreme Court.
    • Course planning to for 2023
