Kia ora – the prompt for the second week of our WGC Writing competition is “Tell the story of someone from the 1800s.”
Think about someone who lived in earlier times. Do you imagine a poor worker going off to the factory, or a suffragette in the midst of a protest? Write about someone in the 1800s; it can be any perspective and any genre you like.
You may interpret this idea in whatever way you choose. Formal or creative, fiction or non-fiction pieces welcome – 750 words max.
