We are looking for students, years 9-13 who would like to enter this year’s World Scholar’s Cup!
You’ll put together a team, and compete against other schools answering quiz questions, writing essays together, and debating on topics across the curriculum including science and technology, history, social studies, art and music, and literature and Media. You don’t need to know a lot about all of the topics, and you will have a chance to study before hand! The Wellington round will be held on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July, and you need to be able to commit to both days.
The Wellington round is coming up quickly on 29-30 July, so we need to get our entries in. Please come to a meeting in T18 on Wednesday 6th July at lunchtime. If you are unable to make it to the meeting, but still want to be involved, please email Dr Rowe ASAP: amy.rowe@wgc.school.nz
