If you are planning on playing football for WGC this year, you should already be registered. If you haven’t done so, registrations will be open for the next 2 days so please hurry and get this done via the WGC sports website – https://wgc.school.nz/co-curricular/sport/
A reminder that trials start for both juniors and seniors this weekend.
Trial 1
Sunday 16th February – WGC Field (wet or fine)
Juniors (Year 9 & 10) 9.30am – 11.30am
Players will be split into four un-graded groups. Each group will complete one of four skill stations set up around the field and then rotate to the next station. Scores/times/ability/attitudes will be recorded.
Seniors (Year 11-13) Noon – 2pm
Girls will play small sided games.
Please arrive early to register. Please bring drink bottles and snacks, and sunblock.
Trial 2
Girls will be invited to attend this trial which is to select the 1st & 2nd XI Teams
Sunday 23rd Feb – St Pats College Turf, Kilbirnie 9am – 11am
Short games on a full sized turf
All trialists in preferred positions where possible
Trial 3
For Juniors only
Sunday 8th March – WGC Field 9.30am – 11.30am
